About Plamigo
Plamigo is a small, independent site of free party games for friends in the same room or on a video call. The main game is Plamigo Trivia: one person makes a room, everyone joins on their own phone with a six letter code, and the same question appears on every screen at the same moment. Next to it are party games played on one phone that you pass around: Truth or Dare, Would You Rather, Never Have I Ever, Most Likely To and Charades.
There are no accounts and nothing to install. You pick a nickname for a game and that is all the site asks of you.
Who makes it
Plamigo is built and run by one independent developer, with no company or investors behind it. The site is free to play. Ads may be shown on some pages in the future to pay for hosting and new games; they will never appear while a question is on screen.
Where the questions come from
The trivia questions are written for Plamigo, then checked by a second reader who answers each one without seeing the answer key. A question goes into the game only when both agree and the answer is not open to debate. Questions about films, series, games and sports are fan trivia; Plamigo is not linked to or endorsed by any of the companies, studios, leagues or clubs named in them, and their names belong to their owners.
Pictures used in picture questions come from Wikimedia Commons under free licences, and each one is credited on the image credits page.
Fair play
Every phone gets the question at the same moment, and points depend on how fast you answer, measured so that a player on a slower connection is not penalised. Anyone can report a question that looks wrong with the Report button after each answer, and reported questions are checked and fixed or removed.
