Privacy policy

Last updated November 6, 2026

Plamigo has no accounts and never asks for your name, email or phone number to play. This page lists everything the site keeps, where it keeps it and why.

Visit counts

To know how many people play and which pages work, the site counts visits with its own small counter. It does not use cookies or any identifier that lasts beyond one day. Each visit is grouped by a one-way code made from your IP address, your browser's name and a secret value that changes every day, so the same visitor cannot be recognised from one day to the next and your IP address itself is not stored. With each visit we keep:

  • the pages opened, how long they were in view and the site you came from (its name only);
  • your country, the type of device and the browser family, read from the request;
  • game steps such as a room being made, a game starting or finishing, and answer counts;
  • how fast the page loaded and, if something broke, the error message.

Because nothing in these records identifies you, the site needs no consent banner for them.

Stored in your own browser

Some settings are saved in your browser's local storage so they are still there next time: your nickname and color, the theme, sound on or off, the language, the names of the players you added to a party game, a private code that lets you rejoin a room after a reload, the keys to edit quizzes you made, the questions you played in the last 30 days (so a new game does not repeat them), and how many days ago you first visited (used only to count returning visitors). This stays on your device; you can delete it at any time by clearing the site's data in your browser.

While you play

A game room keeps the nicknames, colors, scores and answers of its players while the room is in use, so everyone sees the same game. The room and everything in it is deleted once it has been idle for a while.

Reports and custom quizzes

  • Reports. When you report a question, we keep the question, the reason you picked, the note you wrote if any, the room code and a one-way code of your player id (to stop one person reporting the same question many times).
  • Custom quizzes. A quiz you make is stored with its title and questions so others can play it from its link. We also keep a one-way code of your IP address to limit spam, and a scrambled copy of the edit key. Anyone with the link can play the quiz, so please leave personal details out of it.

Hosting and security

The site and the game server run on Cloudflare, which handles every request to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse. Cloudflare processes your IP address for that purpose under its ownprivacy policy.

Ads

Plamigo does not show ads yet. When it does, third-party vendors, including Google, will use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this site and other sites. Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners show ads based on those visits. You will be able to opt out of personalised advertising inGoogle's Ads Settings, and opt out of other vendors' cookies ataboutads.info. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland will be asked for consent before any ad cookies are used, and this page will be updated when ads start.

Children

Plamigo is a general audience site. It does not ask anyone for personal information and does not knowingly collect any from children.

Your choices and questions

You can clear what is stored in your browser at any time. To ask about anything on this page, or to have a quiz you made deleted, write to hello@plamigo.party. If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
